The Game Design Department is responsible for providing our users with the best game experience and further optimizing our games. Our Game Designers cooperate with various internal stakeholders to deliver the best user experience and follow each game’s creative vision.
As a Game Designer* Roblox, you are responsible for designing, developing, and continuously optimizing our Roblox games. You balance player-centric design with business objectives, guiding projects from initial concept through live operations and long-term growth. You will also mentor other Game Designers, sharing your Roblox experience and helping strengthen the team’s knowledge of the platform.

Your mission
- You are constantly developing the design and monetization strategies for new and existing Roblox games
- You evaluate market trends, competition and gather relevant KPIs and use that information to improve our games
- You manage all stages of a game’s life cycle and support the game teams in their efforts to meet the needs of our customers
- You work with other leaders to develop and improve our teamwork, best practices, tools and processes
- You support important internal stakeholders with strategy, identification, decision planning, acquisition, development and launch of new products
Your skills
- You have hands-on experience as a Game Designer and have shipped multiple Roblox games
- You have experience across the full game development lifecycle, from prototyping to post-launch support
- You have a strong understanding of game design processes and can effectively share and scale design best practices within the team
- You live for online games and know the ins and outs of Roblox games
- You’re good at receiving constructive feedback and feel comfortable giving it too
- You enjoy sharing information with others and find it easy to explain things in detail
- You enjoy working in a team and would like to contribute your skills
