Elsword: New Character Ain Announced
Hero fights with godly magic - First class change live at launch
Karlsruhe, 14/6/2017 – Gameforge and South Korean developers KOG’ are introducing a new character class to the anime sidescroller Elsword: Ain makes the round dozen of playable heroes. The angel named Ainchase Ishmael combines his godly powers with the earthly precious stone, EL. His ancient way of speaking also belies his position as son of the world of gods.
Fight with Might and Magic
Ain expands the popular anime MMORPG to include a special magical component: his pendulum lets him unleash the might of the gods in stages and also allows him to profit from the effects of three power boost levels. They not only change his movement but also allow him to float or grant him wings. Ain gathers power points through hits or suffered damage which he then uses for creation or rotation magic, to give himself the upper hand in battle.

At first glance, you do not see the secret of the calm-looking Ain’s origins. However, the moment he destroys his pendulum, he gets access to supernatural powers which he makes perfect use of.
Whether he turns to the lighter or darker side of magic is up to the player: alongside the character release comes the release of the class changes for the 1st path (Exactor at level 15 and Prodigium at level 35). This provides Ain with a wide selection of combo attacks and special abilities and he can then fight with a projected shortsword, dagger or godly spear. The next class changes for the 2nd path (Aptare and Vigere) as well as the 3rd path (Viator and Apostata) follow soon.

Elsword: Expansion introduces Elysion region
New town Atlas includes new fields and dungeons | Upper level cap increased to 85
Karlsruhe, 19/5/2016 – South Korean development studio KOG and Gameforge are introducing the continent of Elysion in the latest update to Anime side-scroller Elsword. New quests and rewards, varied fields and dungeons as well as the increased level cap to 85 all offer sustained entertainment for adventurers.
On to new shores – first steps into new region Elysion
The current patch extends the popular Anime MMORPG to include the continent of Elysion, in which the town of Atlas can be found. Friendly NPCs such as station administrator ‘Yuno’, with his own homemade micro Nasod ‘Nono’ offer new items for sale as well as their services and a series of quests.
Special in-game events set to take place in the first weeks after the update help to introduce the NPCs, the town of Atlas and the whole region of Elysion. As the dangers outside the safety of the station are not to be underestimated, the heroes can now reach a new upper level limit of 85 in this update, to help them be equal to the challenges that lie ahead.
Additionally, the adventurers will find the picturesque-styled field ‘Shaiflone Pond’ around Atlas. Here heroes will come into contact with new monster types for the first time and will have to equip themselves aptly for the fight in two new dungeons ‘Decion Mine’ and ‘Atlas City’. The former is the easier of the two, yet still demands an item level of at least 70 to 72. The mad scientist ‘Deca’ is already waiting for brave adventurers on his mechanical throne, whilst in the latter adventure there’s a Nasod with the markings ‘Surveillant Code A’ waiting, who operates the security system for ‘Atlas City’.
To be continued…
The second part of the update is coming soon. In this, players can look forward to a further field, ‘Outskirts’, and another dungeon, ‘Elysion Tower’. Heroes and groups that enter the tower will encounter difficult and challenging monsters, who however also offer the mightiest loot in Elsword. The task there is to defeat ‘Code Maya’ on normal or, at ‘Hard’ and ‘Expert’ difficulties, to defeat ‘High Templar Code A’. Fun-filled in-game events top off the upcoming update and extend the invitation to join in.
