Karlsruhe, 25/8/2016 – More than 700 beautifully themed square meters in the Entertainment Area with 40 game stations. Thousands of players, long queues, more than 2,000 matches played with 42,000 uploaded cores and 26,000 destroyed hives. We can safely state that gamescom 2016 was a big success for developer Sparkypants, publisher Gameforge and their competitive RTS Dropzone.
But some of the magic happened behind closed doors: trade visitors and journalists were treated to a first showing of the new 2v2 mode. This highly tactical mode adds a new layer of depth and cooperation to the game. Dropzone is in closed beta right now.
