Karlsruhe, 28.05.2014 – The world of TERA: Rising embraces a new class. With skills like Shadow Step, Shadow Lash and Spiral Barrage, the Reaper is the latest addition to TERA’s heroes. Additionally, the newly extended crafting system adds fresh crafting possibilities.
Dainty lady, lethal blades: The Reaper
Experienced players with at least one character at level 40 or higher are able to spin the dual chain sickles of their Elin lady in the new starting area “Ashen Hope”. This damage dealer whirls through the monster ranks with attacks like Double Shear, striking distant enemies twice with blades released like a boomerang. Despite her fragile appearance she presents herself as the dark avenger of the Elin people, which is also well reflected in her mystical character. The Reaper starts at level 50 in the fantasy world of TERA: Rising. Thanks to the increase to 12 character slots, every player is able to begin the adventure without having to erase beloved characters.

Long live crafting!
The new update also offers a revised crafting system. Existing crafting professions have been merged and a new discipline introduced. This new field enables players to craft etching scrolls to gain extra bonuses. Additionally, there is the possibility of producing stronger items by achieving critical successes. New materials have also been added to enhance the newly extended crafting system.
Another new feature making life in Arborea a little easier concerns glyphs. These no longer need to be purchased, and are instead learned automatically when the necessary level is reached.
